As a CRNA with over ten years experience, I have not seen such a verification system that integrates all disciplines who will come in contact with the patient to verify the correct site for surgical procedures. Taking in all discipline's input pre-surgery check then concludes if surgery should proceed or if surgery should be halted because the correct site was not confirmed or collectively agreed upon. Pre-surgery check is an amazing tool that should be integrated into all operating rooms to eliminate the risk of wrong site surgeries.
